Mourning Dove - GTA 6

Overview

The Mourning Dove is Zenaida macroura, a soft gray-brown bird named for its low, mournful cooing call. It is one of the most common birds in North America and forages on the ground for seeds rather than in trees. These doves favor open ground near parks, wires and quiet suburban streets, and their fast, direct flight makes them easy to pick out once they take off. Leonida's parks and residential edges match that habitat closely, the kind of ordinary bird that fills out a quiet neighborhood scene. It appears in GTA 6 trailer footage, so Rockstar has confirmed it is in the game. Nothing about how it responds to a player nearby has been shown one way or another.
