Fast Run is a Player cheat that raises your character's running speed well beyond normal. It is a simple way to cover ground faster on foot, useful for reaching a mission marker in a hurry or just crossing Los Santos quickly. GTA Online refuses this cheat entirely, it is Story Mode only. Achievements and trophies are voided for that session and gold medals are locked until a cheat-free save is loaded. The cheat itself never carries into a save. Your character still moves faster than the running animation really expects, so the motion looks a little off at full speed. The phone number is built to spell CATCHME, a fitting name for a cheat about outrunning everyone else.
On any platform, open the in-game cell phone, bring up the dial pad and call 1-999-228-2463. On PC you can also press the tilde key and type the cheat's console name.
Xbox: press Y, LEFT, RIGHT, RIGHT, LT, LB, X during gameplay.
PlayStation: press TRIANGLE, LEFT, RIGHT, RIGHT, L2, L1, SQUARE during gameplay.
Cheats work in story mode only and disable achievements and trophies for the session. Save before using one - some effects cannot be turned off without reloading.
