Fast Swim is a Player cheat that raises how quickly your character swims through water. It is a simple way to cross rivers, lakes or the ocean faster, useful when a mission or a shortcut takes you through water. GTA Online has no equivalent, this only fires in Story Mode. That session forfeits its achievements and trophies, and any gold medal is out of reach until you reload a save that has no cheat on record. The game drops the effect the moment you reload. It stacks naturally with Fast Run, since the two cover a different kind of movement speed at the same time. It works the same near the coast or far out at sea, which makes any water crossing much quicker than normal.
On any platform, open the in-game cell phone, bring up the dial pad and call 1-999-468-44557. On PC you can also press the tilde key and type the cheat's console name.
Xbox: press LEFT, LEFT, LB, RIGHT, RIGHT, RT, LEFT, LT, RIGHT during gameplay.
PlayStation: press LEFT, LEFT, L1, RIGHT, RIGHT, R2, LEFT, L2, RIGHT during gameplay.
Cheats work in story mode only and disable achievements and trophies for the session. Save before using one - some effects cannot be turned off without reloading.
