Give Parachute is a Player cheat that equips your character with a parachute on the spot. It is handy before jumping from somewhere high, a building, a plane or a cliff, so you have a way down that does not end in a splat. It only runs in Story Mode, and GTA Online has no cheat system to accept it. That session loses achievements, trophies and gold medal chances, until you reload a save that has not used a cheat. Saving does not keep the parachute equipped once you reload. It pairs naturally with the Skyfall cheat, or with any jump from height where you would rather land safely than test your luck. Once it is equipped you still need to open it yourself in the air, it does not deploy on its own.
On any platform, open the in-game cell phone, bring up the dial pad and call 1-999-759-3483. On PC you can also press the tilde key and type the cheat's console name.
Xbox: press LEFT, RIGHT, LB, LT, RB, RT, RT, LEFT, LEFT, RIGHT, LB during gameplay.
PlayStation: press LEFT, RIGHT, L1, L2, R1, R2, R2, LEFT, LEFT, RIGHT, L1 during gameplay.
Cheats work in story mode only and disable achievements and trophies for the session. Save before using one - some effects cannot be turned off without reloading.
