The Altruist Cult is a doomsday sect of elderly men hiding out at their camp in the Chiliad Mountain State Wilderness above Los Santos. Behind their survivalist, back-to-nature front, they are secretly cannibals, which is not obvious from how they present themselves to outsiders. You meet them mainly through Trevor, who can abduct strangers around the map and deliver them to the cult for cash in a recurring side activity. That arrangement holds until the group eventually turns on Trevor, which ends in a shootout that wipes them out. Their story role is a dark, mostly optional side thread rather than part of the main plot. Expect a strange, isolated camp and a betrayal rather than a faction you deal with repeatedly.
