El Strickler

Overview

El Strickler is an assault rifle in GTA 5 and GTA Online, added with the Agents of Sabotage update as a gold plated dress-up of the Military Rifle. It is sold at Ammu-Nation for $695,000. Its datamined numbers are 37.5 damage, a fire rate of about 462 rounds per minute, a range figure of 120 and a 45 round magazine, the biggest magazine of any assault rifle in this class. The damage and fire rate match the Military Rifle exactly in the data, so the two shoot the same way shot for shot. What El Strickler adds is 15 extra rounds before a reload, plus its gold finish, scope and tracer rounds out of the box. Per shot it hits harder than the base Carbine Rifle and Assault Rifle, and only the Assault Rifle Mk II and the Battle Rifle sit above it on raw damage among the assault rifles listed here. The quick fire rate makes sustained fire against groups of NPCs comfortable, and the big magazine means less time ducking behind cover. The price is steep for the class, so this is a rifle for players who already have money coming in from businesses and heists. There is no Mk II version of El Strickler, so what you buy is what you use, plus whatever attachments Ammu-Nation offers for it.

Shots to kill: target health divided by damage per shot (37.5 damage), rounded up. Time to kill: shots minus one, times 60 divided by 462 rounds per minute - the first shot lands at time zero. Full armor is treated as one flat 200 pool. Figures are point blank, before damage dropoff.
