The Service Carbine is an assault rifle in GTA 5 and GTA Online, added with The Criminal Enterprises update and now sold at Ammu-Nation for $370,000. The data gives it 34.75 damage, a fire rate of about 444 rounds per minute, a range figure of 120 and a 30 round magazine. It fires at the same rate as the Carbine Rifle but hits harder per shot, sitting between the Carbine Rifle Mk II and the Military Rifle on damage. That makes it one of the better all-round rifles: quick enough to handle close fights, accurate enough at medium range, and hard-hitting enough that NPCs drop fast. It is modeled on the classic American military rifle, and it has the look to match. When it launched, the Service Carbine could only be built by collecting components from crime scene events around the map. Ammu-Nation later added it to the counter, so the hunt is optional now. There is no Mk II version.
Buy it from any Ammu-Nation for $370,000 once you reach rank Collecting all five weapon components from Crime Scenes (optional).
