Heavy Sniper Mk II in GTA 5

Overview

The Heavy Sniper Mk II is the Gunrunning upgrade of the Heavy Sniper in GTA 5 and GTA Online, converted at a Weapon Workshop for $165,375. Its datamined figures are 230 damage, a fire rate of about 50 rounds per minute, a range figure of 1500 and a 6 round magazine, the highest damage of any sniper rifle in the data. The base Heavy Sniper already kills most targets with one well-placed shot. The Mk II adds a little damage on top and, more importantly, special ammo. Explosive rounds turn it into a long-range anti-vehicle weapon that brings down helicopters and wrecks cars in a few hits, Armor Piercing rounds punch through cover and vehicle bodies, and Incendiary rounds set targets on fire. The thermal scope attachment shows warm bodies through smoke and darkness, which is why this rifle is a staple of freemode fights. Only 6 rounds per magazine and a slow bolt action between shots mean every miss costs time, so it suits patient shooters. It is also the most expensive Mk II conversion listed here.

Shots to kill: target health divided by damage per shot (230 damage), rounded up. Time to kill: shots minus one, times 60 divided by 50 rounds per minute - the first shot lands at time zero. Full armor is treated as one flat 200 pool. This weapon's PvP headshot modifier in the game files is 1.0, so headshots change nothing.
