The Marksman Rifle is a sniper rifle in GTA 5 and GTA Online, sold at Ammu-Nation for $15,750. Its datamined figures are 65 damage, a fire rate of about 200 rounds per minute, a range figure of 1000 and an 8 round magazine, the lowest damage of any sniper rifle in this data. What it trades for that lower damage is speed and capacity. 200 rounds per minute is much faster than the bolt action feel of the Heavy Sniper or Precision Rifle, and an 8 round magazine means fewer reloads during a sustained fight. Its 1000 range figure is shorter than the 1500 of the Heavy Sniper and Sniper Rifle, so it is built for medium to long range rather than the very longest shots. It works well as a faster, more forgiving sniper for players still learning to line up shots. The Marksman Rifle Mk II improves on it through a Weapon Workshop conversion, adding 10 more damage while keeping the same fire rate and magazine. Until then, this base version remains the quickest firing sniper rifle available at Ammu-Nation.
