In the data it carries 101 damage, a fire rate of about 38 rounds per minute, a range figure of 1500 and a 10 round magazine. Those figures match the standard Sniper Rifle exactly, so on paper it is the same gun with a different look and a much higher price. The 101 damage figure is enough for a one-shot headshot on most NPCs, while body shots on players need follow-up rounds. It reaches the full 1500 range figure of the sniper class, which makes it useful for picking off targets across the map in missions. The Heavy Sniper and Heavy Sniper Mk II hit far harder per shot, so the Precision Rifle is a choice for players who like the way it handles or want the look, not for anyone chasing the biggest number. It has no Mk II conversion.
