The Homing Launcher is a heavy weapon in GTA 5 and GTA Online, added with the Festive Surprise 2014 update, unlocked at Rank 1 and sold at Ammu-Nation for $75,000. Its datamined damage is 0, since it works through a blast rather than a bullet value, with a fire rate of about 75 rounds per minute, a range figure of 300 and a clip of 1. Its rockets track moving targets on their own once locked, which makes it far more reliable against helicopters, planes and fleeing vehicles than the unguided RPG. The 300 range figure is the longest of any single shot launcher in this data, letting you engage aircraft well before they close in. The single round clip and the reload after every shot mean each rocket counts, so it rewards patience over spamming. There is no Mk II version. Being a Rank 1 unlock, it is available to a new character almost immediately, making it the easiest way early on to deal with airborne threats.
