The Military Rifle is an assault rifle in GTA 5 and GTA Online, sold at Ammu-Nation for $397,500. Its datamined figures are 37.5 damage, a fire rate of about 462 rounds per minute, a range figure of 120 and a 30 round magazine, the same damage and fire rate as El Strickler. The difference between the two is the magazine. El Strickler carries 45 rounds against this rifle's 30, so the Military Rifle reloads more often for a much lower price. It sits above the Carbine Rifle and Assault Rifle on damage while matching the quicker end of the assault rifle fire rates, which makes it a strong all round choice at close to medium range. It is modeled on a real world military service rifle, which shows in its straight, no frills look. There is no Mk II version. Compared with El Strickler's gold finish and bigger magazine, the Military Rifle is the plainer, cheaper way to get the same shot for shot performance.
Buy it from any Ammu-Nation for $397,500.
