Cal Hampton is a confirmed non-playable character in GTA 6, described by Rockstar as Jason Duval's friend and a fellow associate of Brian Heder in the Leonida Keys. His profile paints him as someone who feels safest at home rather than out in the world. That makes him one of the smaller, more personal connections around Jason. Rockstar's own description leans into the comedy of the character: Cal spends his time snooping on Coast Guard radio traffic with a few beers and some private browser tabs open, casually paranoid and happy at what the profile calls the low tide of America. Rockstar admits he sounds ridiculous but insists he is also useful, which ties him into Brian Heder's smuggling operation as a minor but trusted presence around Jason. Cal's world is the Leonida Keys rather than Vice City, putting him alongside Jason, Brian and Lori rather than the Real Dimez side of the cast. Rockstar has not given him a backstory beyond his friendship with Jason and his connection to Brian, so his life before the Keys remains unconfirmed.
