Jason Duval is one of the two playable leads in GTA 6, confirmed on Rockstar's official character page alongside Lucia Caminos. He is a former Army soldier who grew up around grifters and crooks before ending up in the Leonida Keys, working for local drug runners. Meeting Lucia could change everything for him. Jason connects to almost every other confirmed supporting character. Brian Heder lets him live rent-free at one of his properties in exchange for help with local shakedowns, and Jason works alongside Brian's other associates, including Cal Hampton and Brian's third wife Lori. Rockstar has confirmed Jason's background and his ties to the Keys, but it has not shown how his story connects to Vice City itself or given much detail about his life before the Army. The game is set in Vice City and the state of Leonida, with Jason's own story rooted in the Leonida Keys rather than the city itself. Rockstar has named him and Lucia as the two leads and confirmed a release date of November 19, 2026 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, but beyond the official profiles, it has not revealed further plot or mission detail.
