Sam is a common enough name that, on its own, it says very little, and in GTA 6's case it comes from leak discussion and casting material rather than an official Rockstar source. More than one rumored role could plausibly share a name this ordinary, which is worth keeping in mind before treating it as a single confirmed identity. Rockstar has named exactly two GTA 6 characters so far, Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos, and every other figure shown in the trailers to date remains unidentified by the studio. Names that circulate from casting breakdowns describe a role a studio is trying to fill, not necessarily the name that role keeps once a game is finished and credited. Confirming Sam as a real GTA 6 character would need Rockstar to use the name directly, in future marketing or in the game itself. Until that happens, it is a leak, not a fact.
