Overview

This rifle is based on the FN SCAR, a rifle family that the Belgian maker FN Herstal developed for US special operations forces in the 2000s. It comes in a lighter 5.56mm version, the SCAR-L, and a heavier 7.62mm one, the SCAR-H, with a modular build that lets units swap barrels for different jobs.

The GTA 6 Launch Trailer of October 15, 2026 shows it, making it one of the few weapons revealed in the final weeks before release. A rifle on the same pattern already exists in GTA Online, so the look will be familiar to returning players.

Its GTA 6 name, damage and unlock method are still unknown, so the real-world name is used for now.
