Monkey mosaics are a set of 50 spray painted monkey artworks by a mystery street artist in Story Mode, tagged on walls, underpasses and rail cars across the map. Finding every one unlocks the Space Monkey outfit and the Go Go Monkey Blista. Because the artworks turn up on moving rail cars as well as fixed walls and underpasses, some of them need patience and good timing rather than just driving to a marker, since you have to catch the right car at the right moment. The identity of the artist is never explained in the story itself, so the mosaics work purely as a scattered visual detail rather than a plot thread. The vehicle reward makes this set worth finishing beyond simple completion, since the Go Go Monkey Blista is a unique paint job not available any other way.
Photograph each mosaic with the phone camera. The artist texts you as you make progress through the set.
Snapping all 50 unlocks the Space Monkey outfit for Trevor and puts the Go Go Monkey Blista on the streets to find.
