How collectible hunting works across Story Mode and GTA Online, what each set gives you, and how the maps on this site make the long hunts manageable.
How do the collectible maps work?+
Every set page shows all of its locations on the interactive map. Open the full map to filter sets, mark finds and track your progress.
Where do the locations come from?+
The coordinates are extracted from the game itself, so every set matches the official in-game total exactly.
Do collectibles count toward 100%?+
Some sets do, like stunt jumps, letter scraps and spaceship parts. Each set page says what it counts toward and what it rewards.
Can I track which ones I have found?+
Yes. Mark markers as found on the interactive map and your progress is saved on your device. Sign in to keep it across devices.
Which collectible sets count toward 100% in Story Mode?+
Stunt jumps, under the bridge and knife flight challenges, letter scraps, spaceship parts, nuclear waste, submarine pieces, the Epsilon tracts and the monkey mosaics all tie into completion or into an achievement, and each set page states what it counts toward. Some sets only need a portion for the 100% checklist while the achievement needs every last one.
The seasonal GTA Online sets do not affect Story Mode completion at all. They are separate hunts with their own rewards, usually cash, clothing or a vehicle unlock.
Do I need a specific character or mission to start a hunt?+
Some sets do. Spaceship parts only appear once Franklin has met Omega in the Far Out mission. The Epsilon tracts belong to Michael's Epsilon strand. Submarine pieces need the Sonar Collections Dock and Abigail's mission, and nuclear waste needs the same dock. Letter scraps, stunt jumps and monkey mosaics are available from early in the story.
Each set page says how the hunt starts and who can collect the items, so you do not spend an hour looking for something that has not spawned yet.
What are the seasonal GTA Online collectibles and when do they appear?+
Rockstar runs event weeks around real holidays, and several collectible sets only exist during those windows: snowmen in December, lucky charms around St Patrick's Day, yuanbao for Lunar New Year, candy for Halloween and so on. The locations are fixed, but the items are not in the world outside the event.
The set pages mark these as seasonal and explain the reward. Outside the event window the map still shows you where the items will be, which is useful for planning a route before the event starts.
How do the location maps on this site work?+
Every set page shows all of its locations on the interactive map, and the coordinates come from the game data, so a marker sits where the item really is. You can open the full map, filter to the sets you are working on, and mark each item as found. Progress saves in your browser, and signing in keeps it across devices.
For big sets like the hundred action figures or the fifty-four playing cards, that tracking is the difference between a tidy afternoon and a week of checking the same rooftop twice.
What are the rewards actually worth?+
It depends on the set. The action figures pay cash and unlock outfits. The playing cards pay casino chips and a special card deck. The signal jammers pay a cash bonus and unlock a hacker for the Diamond Casino Heist. The peyote plants let you play as animals. In Story Mode, the spaceship parts unlock the Space Docker and the letter scraps solve a murder mystery.
The set pages list the reward and, where it matters, what the reward is good for. Most people finish the sets for the completion itself, and the money is a bonus.
