Best way to use the collectible map
Open the Los Santos map, select one collectible category, and clear one geographic band at a time. Mark every pickup immediately. For rooftop, underwater, bridge, and indoor markers, read the marker note before travelling so you bring the right vehicle.
Story Mode collectible order
Start Spaceship Parts after Franklin meets Omega. Pair Letter Scraps and Monkey Mosaics with city travel. Save the underwater Nuclear Waste and Submarine Pieces routes until the relevant equipment and mission strands are available. Under the Bridge and Knife Flights are skill challenges, so use a stable aircraft rather than treating them like ground pickups.
GTA Online seasonal collectibles
Snowmen, Peyote Plants, Trick or Treat Candy, Lucky Charms, and Yuanbao depend on event availability. Their coordinates can be fixed while the object itself is absent outside the event window.
