Ambrosia County Sheriff is one of several law enforcement names that have turned up on liveries, uniforms and road signage across official GTA 6 trailers and screenshots. The title follows the county sheriff model used across real Florida, and it points to the department covering Ambrosia, one of the confirmed named parts of Leonida. Florida's counties mostly rely on an elected sheriff for county-wide policing, a role that covers road patrol, rural areas and the county jail, separate from any city police force inside the same county. Leonida is built as a version of Florida, so a sheriff's office attached to one of its counties fits that same real-world pattern rather than inventing a new one. What Rockstar has not shown is how this department actually behaves once you are playing, what part it plays in any wanted response, or whether it acts any differently from the other named agencies here. The exact boundary of Ambrosia County and the department's in-game name are also unconfirmed.
