Overview

Port Gellhorn Police Department is the local force confirmed through official GTA 6 trailer and screenshot material, serving Port Gellhorn, one of the named parts of Leonida. It reads as a typical small city department rather than anything covering a wider county or the whole state.

Florida has plenty of small cities built up around a working port that keep their own compact police department rather than leaning entirely on the surrounding county. A force with Port Gellhorn's name printed on its own cars, rather than a county sheriff's badge, fits that familiar pattern of a coastal town policing itself.

Rockstar has not detailed how this department behaves once you are playing, what it does at the edge of its own town, or what role it takes in any wanted response. Port Gellhorn's exact size and shape within Leonida are equally unconfirmed.
