Key Lento Police Department is a local force confirmed through official GTA 6 trailer and screenshot material, named for Key Lento, a spot that fits among the Leonida Keys confirmed elsewhere in the game's setting. The name points to island policing rather than a mainland city or a whole county. Most of the real Florida Keys are unincorporated and left to the county sheriff, but Key West is the exception, a proper city with its own police department covering just that island. Key Lento having a police department of its own, rather than a keys-wide sheriff, follows that same Key West style exception rather than the general rule. How this department actually operates in GTA 6, whether it differs from the mainland departments on this list, and what role it plays in any wanted response are all things Rockstar has not addressed yet.
