Leonida Highway Patrol is the fully named state road agency spotted across official GTA 6 trailers and screenshots, most visibly through vehicle livery. Its name attaches the state itself to the highway patrol title, mirroring how the Florida Highway Patrol brands its own cars and troopers back in the real world. In Florida, that state patrol handles interstates and state highways everywhere in the state, running speed enforcement and crash response independently of any city police or county sheriff. With Leonida standing in for Florida across the map, from the Keys up through Vice City and inland toward the Grassrivers, a single named highway patrol covering all of it fits the same real-world layout. A separate name, Highway Patrol Agency, has also turned up in the same material, and it is not confirmed whether that is the same body under a shorter label or something else again. Neither its exact role in any wanted response nor how it plays differently from the other departments listed here has been shown.
