Gloriana Key is a confirmed Vice-Dale County location, and it carries a named real-world match: Virginia Key, the real barrier island in Biscayne Bay. That puts it among the small number of Leonida locations with a specific confirmed counterpart rather than just a county. Virginia Key sits between the mainland and Key Biscayne, reached over the Rickenbacker Causeway, and it has stayed noticeably less developed than its neighbors. Part of the island is a public beach with real civil rights history behind it, opened to Black beachgoers during segregation when much of Miami's shoreline was closed to them, and part of it is protected land of mangroves and coastal hammock. A marine science campus and, for years, a marine park attraction have also made their home on the island. How closely the in-game key follows that real layout has not been confirmed. Beyond the real-world match, Rockstar has not said how much of the key players can reach, what stands on it, or what it is used for in the story.
