Overview

Lake Leonida is a confirmed Ambrosia County location, the one named spot on the map inside a county Rockstar has modeled on Hendry County in south-central Florida, an agricultural stretch well away from the coast.

No specific real-world lake has been confirmed as its match, but Hendry County's real geography sits along Lake Okeechobee, Florida's largest lake and the centerpiece of the state's sugar-growing region, so a lake carrying the state's own name in a county built on that template is a reasonable fit rather than a coincidence. Ambrosia County's own flavor text leans on that real industry, describing a fictional sugar refinery called Allied Crystal as the backbone of local jobs, with a motorcycle gang filling in most of what else keeps the area running.

How much of the shoreline players can reach, and whether any activity is tied to the lake itself, is unconfirmed. Nothing about its size or layout in the game has been shown.
