Ocean Beach is a confirmed Vice-Dale County location, and it maps onto the beachfront strip of real Miami Beach, the barrier island famous the world over for its Art Deco hotels and white sand. Ocean Drive runs along that real stretch of sand, lined with pastel hotels from the 1930s and 1940s, their curved corners, neon trim and terrazzo floors protected as part of a nationally recognized historic district. Lummus Park sits across the road on the beach side, a strip of grass and palms between the hotel fronts and the water, and the whole strip draws crowds for the sand by day and the hotel bars and restaurants once the sun goes down. Which hotels or stretches of sand are modeled, and how much of the strip players can walk or drive through, is still unknown. Rockstar has confirmed the location exists and left the rest undescribed.
