South Beach is a confirmed Vice-Dale County location, sharing its name outright with the real South Beach neighborhood of Miami Beach, one of the most photographed strips of coastline in the country. The real South Beach covers the southern end of Miami Beach's barrier island, home to the Art Deco Historic District, Lincoln Road's pedestrian shopping mall, and Collins Avenue's run of hotels and clubs. It built a reputation through the late twentieth century as a fashion and nightlife destination, pulling in an international crowd that turned a run of aging hotels into one of the best known stretches of coast in the United States. The exact footprint Rockstar modeled, and what activities sit inside it, have not been revealed. Overlap with the neighboring Ocean Beach and Washington Beach entries on the same map has not been explained either.
