Venetian Islands is a confirmed Vice-Dale County location, and it keeps the exact name of the real Venetian Islands, a chain of man-made islands strung across Biscayne Bay between Miami and Miami Beach. The real islands were built during Florida's 1920s land boom and are threaded together by the Venetian Causeway, a low bridge route that has served as a quieter, more scenic alternative to the main causeways ever since. Homes on the real islands rank among the most expensive in the area, and the causeway itself is recognized as a historic structure in its own right, popular with cyclists and joggers for the water views on both sides of the road. The number of islands modeled, their layout, and what players can actually do on them have not been detailed. Only the name and general setting are confirmed for now.
